Chatham Foot Specialists was originally opened in 1976 by Dr. Rosner. They served the
Chatham/Avalon neighborhood faithfully for many years. The employees and doctors of
Chatham Foot Specialists have always strived to provide top medical care with a
personal touch. In 2004, Dr. Rosner retired and a new Chatham Foot Specialists was
opened by the same doctors who had developed deep and caring relationships with the
patients. Under Dr. Cowan's leadership the staff continues to strive to bring the most
modern and advanced treatments to their patients.
Unlike many doctors’ offices, we put a priority on taking time to get to know the patients.
Patients should feel comfortable with the people that are helping them. When patients
know that we have their best interest at heart, a relationship of trust developes. Studies
have shown that there is a psychological factor to healing and when patients trust their
doctors, healing can be faster and more complete. Part of that positive atmosphere also
comes from the environment where the healing takes place. We stress the importance
